The Hayot animal shelter is located in 25 kilometers from Tashkent. It's a huge area among hills and quarries, filled with dogs (and a few donkeys) with hard destinies. Now there are more than 6,500 of them. Some of them are in enclosures with a transparent mesh fence, they can see the hills and the endless horizon from it. Others sit in enclosures with gray concrete walls.

By the recommendation of London's Battersea Academy, the shelter decided to diversify the dogs' habitat and called in artists to decorate their enclosures.
