Chinnigul is a small shop offering Uzbek chapan coats made of cashmere with traditional embroidery. Although Chinnigul sells its chapans in St. Petersburg, I wanted to fully convey the mood and atmosphere of sunny Uzbekistan.
To achieve this, I came up with a fitting name ("Chinnigul" translates to "carnation" in Uzbek, a traditional embroidery motif), chose a vibrant red color, and used high-contrast processing that feels sun-drenched. The product cards resemble Polaroids from travels, adding to the sense of a journey.
For display typography, Polina Soldatova's "Riviera" font was chosen, which the brand uses in care instructions and on social media.
